Perry frequently depicts his female alter ego, ‘Claire’, and his childhood teddy bear, ‘Alan Measles’, in his pieces, blending his personal narrative with broader societal commentary. In 2003, Perry was awarded the prestigious Turner Prize, marking his significant impact on contemporary art. His works are held in major institutions, including the Tate and the V&A Museum in London. In October 2017, Perry’s ceramic vase ‘I Want To Be An Artist’ sold at Christie's in London for £623,000, setting a new auction record for the artist.
