I Thought We Had More Time is based on a collage created with music paper and watercolour in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. 

 

The print is a collaged archival pigment print on paper, signed in crayon by Idris Khan, from a timed-limited edition produced with Migrate Art in 2022.

 

Measures 42 x 33 cm. 

 

Unframed and stored in its original packaging. 

 

Idris Khan (born 1978) is a British artist that works with photography, videography and sculpture. Khan studied photography and later an MA at the Royal College of Art. He draws inspiration from the world around him - art, literature, history, music and religion, to create carefully layered and textured artworks that have an element of abstraction and minimalism to document points in time in a captivating manner. Khan has had numerous International solo exhibitions, has been commissioned several times to create public artwork and sculptures, and his work can be found in countless institutions and museums globally, spanning from Australia to Israel, France, the UK and USA. In 2017, Khan was appointed OBE.
