Peter Blake designed this artwork to raise awareness and funds for the British Heart Foundation through contemporary art. This vibrant and iconic artwork combines Blake's famous pop art style with geometric imagery and a subject matter important to him.

Sir Peter Blake (born 1932) is known as the godfather of British Pop Art, portraying popular culture and everyday nostalgia in his artwork as one of the first British pop artists. Blake explores a wide variety of techniques from painting and drawing to sculpture and collage. Also famous for designing the Beatles album cover for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with his wife, Blake designed covers for The Who, Band Aid’s Do They Know It’s Christmas? and the Live Aid poster. He has also created numerous murals including a 25 metre collage of celebrities that covered the facade of the Mandarin Oriental in London. Blake is well known for his ‘Found Art’ work where he takes everyday objects and packaging with a sense of nostalgia and scales them up to produce large prints with incredible realistic detail.
